The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center (CMCC) is a modern facility that includes a large exhibit hall, a spacious ballroom and numerous meeting rooms. As the only downtown convention center in South Carolina, our friendly staff welcomes you not only to our building but to the vibrant city just outside our doors. 

In the center, enjoy customizable space and a locally driven menu to fit the needs of your group. Ample parking and charming outdoor space are available to guests, despite being in the heart of downtown Columbia. Since opening our doors over 16 years ago, the CMCC has grown and adapted to the changing meetings industry, adopting health and safety protocols and hosting hybrid in-person and virtual meetings. In 2021 we became a GBAC Star Facility to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
