WHAT WE DO

With approximately 60 total employees, each team member of Midlands Authority for Conventions Sports & Tourism and Experience Columbia SC has an integral part to play within their specific organization and department in driving economic impact through tourism. From an Experience Columbia SC Sports sales team member attending a tradeshow in Alabama to connect with sports planners who have never used our destination in the past, to engineering and operations team members keeping the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center pristine, safe and comfortable, to an Experience Columbia SC marketing team member crafting an Instagram story about one of the region’s numerous entertainment districts, each department and position is vital to driving (and keeping!) visitation to our community.
