The Columbia SC Visitors Center, located at the corner of Gervais and Lincoln Streets and operated by Experience Columbia SC, officially launches an online store today. Merchandise available for purchase includes various apparel, drinkware, souvenirs, home goods and bulk items for visiting groups.
The plan for the online store was already in the works when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March. Now, more than ever, having an accessible online retail experience is important.
“Our team is dedicated to finding the most efficient and effective ways to service our customers. With the challenges presented from the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognized a need to provide our customers with Columbia SC merchandise and sought out a safe and clean way to do so,” said Jason Outman, Executive Director of Experience Columbia SC. “The online store has been months in the making and offers a great variety of products, including items not found in the brick-and-mortar Visitors Center. I truly hope our visitors and locals alike will find this store convenient and fun to shop on!”
A few new products we’re excited to debut in the online store include a “Made in Columbia SC” onesie, Pride t-shirts, a line of apparel and drinkware boasting designs created by The Half and Half, Heart of SC face masks, fine art prints and more.
To celebrate this launch, Experience Columbia SC is hosting a giveaway exclusively on Instagram. One lucky winner will take home a swag bag of #RealColumbiaSC merch. The giveaway opens at 8 a.m. on Wed., Oct. 28th and closes at 8 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 29th.
